The Role

Idle is on the lookout for a passionate Barista to join the team.
As a walk-in venue, this is a guest-facing role centred around fluidity and welcome. Ensuring every coffee is made with speed and care to meet our high standards while contributing to the warm, unpretentious energy of the café. This role will be well suited to someone who:

• Brings 1+ years of barista experience within a high-volume café
• Holds a solid understanding of dialling in and milk texturing
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task during peak service
• Delivers a calm, warm, and efficient service style 
• Has a genuine appreciation for quality produce and consistency in execution
• Is community-focused with a natural knack for guest engagement
• Brings flexibility for early morning and weekend shifts
• RSA & Food Safety Certificates are required
