About Golden Avenue

Golden Avenue is a lush, open-armed take on Middle Eastern flavour. Smoky charcoal, woodfired breads, and garden terrace energy all come together under one roof. From mezze to mastiha, Habibi Funk to high-heat grills, Golden Avenue brings rhythm, smoke and sound to the heart of Brisbane.

The Role

We're looking for experienced and energetic Section Waiters to join the team at Golden Avenue on a casual basis, with opportunities to work between 15–30 hours per week, with potential to increase to 38+ hours as we head into the busy season. You'll take ownership of your own section, delivering warm, knowledgeable service while creating memorable guest experiences. Working alongside a passionate team, you'll confidently manage busy services, build genuine connections with guests, and help uphold the exceptional standards Golden Avenue is known for.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing a section within a premium, high-volume restaurant
• Strong food, beverage and wine knowledge
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Confidence leading your own section while maintaining exceptional service standards
• A calm, professional approach in fast-paced service environments
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset
• A strong work ethic, sense of urgency and pride in delivering great service
• A current RSA certificate
• Casual availability across a rotating roster, with shifts available between 9:00am and midnight, including evenings and weekends
