About Golden Avenue

Golden Avenue is a lush, open-armed take on Middle Eastern flavour. Smoky charcoal, woodfired breads, and garden terrace energy all come together under one roof. From mezze to mastiha, Habibi Funk to high-heat grills, Golden Avenue brings rhythm, smoke and sound to the heart of Brisbane.

The Role

We're looking for energetic and reliable Food Runners to join the team at Golden Avenue on a casual basis, with opportunities to work between 15–30 hours per week, with potential to increase to 38+ as we lead into the busy season. Working alongside our kitchen and front-of-house teams, you'll play an essential role in delivering food quickly, accurately and with genuine hospitality. You'll help maintain the rhythm of service by ensuring every dish reaches the right table at the right time, while creating positive guest interactions and supporting the team through fast-paced services.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within a fast-paced hospitality environment
• A strong work ethic with the ability to thrive under pressure during high-volume service
• The physical capability to safely carry multiple large, heavy trays throughout busy services
• Confidence maintaining speed, accuracy and composure while handling physically demanding service periods
• A genuine passion for creating positive guest interactions and memorable dining experiences
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach
• Pride in supporting both the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional service
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow table numbers, service procedures and restaurant flow
• A current RSA certificate
• Casual availability across a rotating roster, with shifts available between 9:00am and midnight, including evenings and weekends
