About Golden Avenue

Golden Avenue is a lush, open-armed take on Middle Eastern flavour. Smoky charcoal, woodfired breads, and garden terrace energy all come together under one roof. From mezze to mastiha, Habibi Funk to high-heat grills, Golden Avenue brings rhythm, smoke and sound to the heart of Brisbane.

The Role

We're looking for an energetic and passionate Floor Supervisor to join the team at Golden Avenue. Working alongside our Restaurant Manager, you'll help lead the front-of-house team through vibrant, high-energy services while creating memorable guest experiences from the moment guests arrive. You'll be a natural leader on the floor, bringing warmth, confidence and genuine hospitality to every shift, while supporting the development of your team and helping maintain the exceptional standards Golden Avenue is known for.

You'll also play an important role in delivering Golden Avenue's private dining experiences, hosting VIP guests and ensuring every event is executed with the same energy, precision and hospitality our venue is known for. 

Skills & Experience

• Previous leadership experience within a quality-driven, high-volume restaurant environment
• Confidence leading large front-of-house teams through busy services while maintaining exceptional guest experiences
• Strong experience delivering private dining experiences, events and exclusive guest functions
• Confidence hosting VIP guests and creating memorable, personalised experiences
• Experience using SevenRooms or similar reservation platforms (highly regarded)
• The ability to coach, mentor and inspire team members while fostering a positive team culture
• A vibrant, engaging personality with genuine passion and energy for hospitality
• Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making skills
• Strong understanding of service standards, floor operations and guest recovery
• A genuine desire to build a long-term career in premium hospitality
• A current RSA certificate
• Full-time availability across a rotating roster, with shifts available between 9:00am and 1:00am, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
